Join library directors from across the country to hear about lessons learned during the pandemic and discuss the ways in which priorities have shifted. How has restricted in-person access to content changed the ways we think about access to research and what initiatives or priorities have arisen as a result? As needs shift, how can CRKN best support members during this time? The panel will include a facilitated discussion with opportunities for Q&A.
Join the members of the CRKN staff for a bilingual introductory session on the Canadian Research Knowledge Network.
This session includes a 10-minute break from 1:00 to 1:10 p.m. ET. This year, CRKN enlisted the services of Ithaka S+R to undertake an assessment of the market for our digitization, hosting and preservation services. The team at Ithaka S+R will present the results of their assessment and outline their recommendations of options for CRKN’s heritage services.
Join members of the CRKN Board of Directors as they provide an overview of the project vision developed in preparation for an application to the CFI Innovation Fund competition. Information on CRKN’s goals for the funding, important next steps, and how members can support the project will be provided. A facilitated discussion will enable participants to ask questions and share feedback on the proposed project.
