In this session, Licensing staff and members of the Content Strategy Committee will highlight and showcase the many successful outcomes from the recent years.
We are mid-way through an ambitious strategic plan, in which transforming scholarly communications is at the core. As we consider our progress over these last three years in advancing open scholarship and prioritizing cost reductions with commercial vendors, during this workshop we will review the principles that guide licensing decisions, collectively brainstorm approaches that advance open scholarship in Canada, explore the potential of a collective investment strategy, and more. This workshop will include breaks, including a break for lunch.
