CRKN is extending the call for nominations for the Conference Planning Committee (CPC). The CPC is a new committee, established by and reporting to the CRKN Board of Directors, and providing updates to the Content Strategy Committee and Preservation and Access Committee, as needed. The deadline to submit a nomination for the CPC has been extended until Monday, April 20, 2020 at 5 p.m. ET.

The Canadian Research Knowledge Network (CRKN) is pleased to announce the launch of redesigned websites for Canadiana Online and Héritage. Developed with design agency Trajectory as part of CRKN’s new brand image, these redesigns will also be implemented on CRKN’s third-party client portals.
CRKN has extended the submission deadline for the Request for Proposals (RFP) from copyright consultants until April 30, 2020.
The Conference Planning Committee (CPC) provides leadership to develop, plan, and implement all programming aspects of the annual CRKN conference. The CPC ensures the programming of the conference represents the interests and needs of CRKN members and stakeholders and champions diverse participation and representation.
CRKN’s Knowledge Base Entitlements Sub-Committee (KBESC), formerly the Serials Management Sub-Committee, is happy to announce that the entitlements lists (in KBART format) for CRKN-licensed content have been updated for 2020. CRKN members are encouraged to locate and activate these lists in their discovery system.
The Canadian Research Knowledge Network’s 67 participating libraries have confirmed their renewal of the SCOAP³ initiative for another three-year term, covering 2020-2022.

This listserv provides a forum for CRKN members, stakeholders, the GLAM community, and members of the public to discuss issues related to the digital heritage landscape in Canada.
