Call for Member Digitization Projects Webinar
As part of CRKN’s commitment to growing and diversifying the Canadiana Collection, we are excited to announce that we are launching a call for Member Digitization Projects this fall. As you know, we collaborate with members, libraries, archives, and others in the heritage community to digitize and make content openly accessible on Canadiana. The Member Digitization Projects initiative guides this work with our member community, allowing us to effectively plan our digitization services for the following year while prioritizing member content.
We will host a webinar to provide more details and answer questions to help members make informed decisions about potential project applications. As part of the webinar, we will go over the documentation that will be posted on the CRKN website, including the guide for applicants and the fee rates. If you have any questions, please reach out to Francesca Brzezicki at fbrzezicki@crkn.ca.

Using Wordly
For attendees who use the Zoom desktop app, the Wordly integration is built-in and they will be able to see the captioning in the Chat tab. For attendees who use the browser to access Zoom meetings, they will need to use the link or QR code included in this message to access the Wordly transcription and translation on their personal device (laptop, tablet, or smartphone). Attendees have the option of following live captioning of the meeting or listening to conversations/presentations in their preferred language in real time. Please note that Wordly is not generative AI and does not save meeting transcripts by default and audio is secure in transit as Wordly is ISO 27001 certified, in addition to SOC Type II compliant.
Please refer to these instructions for more information on how to access Wordly during the session.
