Canadian National Digital Heritage Index
The Canadian National Digital Heritage Index (CNDHI) was launched by CRKN in 2016 with financial support from Library and Archives Canada (LAC) through the Documentary Heritage Communities Program. Originally available as a standalone website, CNDHI was intended to increase awareness of and access to digital heritage collections in Canada, to identify gaps in digitization efforts, and to identify opportunities for collaboration.
While CNDHI is no longer being actively expanded as of 2026, CRKN maintains the list of collections indexed in CNDHI in the spreadsheet linked below. Please note that some links may no longer be active, or they may be archived by the Government of Canada Web Archive or by Internet Archive's Wayback Machine.
If you are a host institution who would like to see their collection entry amended, or if you would like to add a new collection, please contact CRKN at info@crkn.ca.
If you have a question about a collection indexed on CNDHI, please contact the host institution directly.
