In 2014, UdeM undertook its first community consultation project to identify what serials were essential for teaching and academic research. To evaluate the institutional serial collections, this collaborative approach was based bibliometric analysis and consultations with faculty members and graduate students. Bibliothèques UdeM repeated the exercise in 2022 to re-evaluate their serial collections, at a time when scholarly publishing is considerably changing, with the increased amount of open access content. Justine Ménard and Khalid Jouamaa, Direction des collections des bibliothèques UdeM, will present the highlights and results of this second consultation.
