The Content Strategy Committee met via teleconference on April 9, 2018. The CSC discussed the 2018 license renewals, the AGM programming, and various other topics.

Management Report
A written management report was shared with the committee which included an update on CC-Plus, FX Member Teleconferences and the posting of the Director of Marketing and Stakeholder Engagement position.
Canadiana Update
An update on the combination of CRKN and Canadiana was shared with the committee. As of April 1, CRKN and Canadiana combined as one organization.
2017 License Renewals
Final results of the negotiation with SAGE Premier, progress on the agreement with ARTstor, and the results of member teleconferences on Coalition Publi.ca were shared.
2018 License Renewals
An Update on the license renewals for 2018-2019 was provided. Including information on meetings and negotiations with:
- Springer
- Elsevier
- CRL
- CAIRN
- Proquest
Cost Sharing Advisory Group
The committee reviewed recommendations as outlined in the final report of the Cost-Sharing Advisory Group.
Jisc JUSP
The committee shared feedback on the JUSP presentation that took place on April 5. The committee suggested adding JUSP to the AGM programming to facilitate discussion amongst the membership.
Trusted Digital Repository Task Group (TDRTG)
An update on progress toward a draft report and next steps upon its completion was provided.
Serials Management Sub-Committee (SMSC)
The SMSC will be meeting on April 11. A full report will be shared with the CSC in May.
Journal Value Analytics (JVA)
An update on the progress of the JVA was provided, including a tentative timeline.
Collection Analysis Community of Practice
The committee was informed that the next “water cooler” is scheduled for April 24. It was noted that staff have reached out to recruit francophone presenters.
