Overview
Access to scholarly research is key to Canada’s success in the global information economy; the current commercial publishing model is placing that access at risk.
The objective of the Institutional Mobilization Toolkit is to offer a collection of materials for CRKN members to utilize in communications with their internal stakeholders on the issues of negotiation priorities. The IM Toolkit helps librarians communicate with researchers, faculty members and administrators about how their publishing choices, and promotions and tenure decisions, impact the larger academic enterprise.
Please find the current toolkit documents below. To access editable versions of these tools, please contact Jason Friedman, Senior Member Services Officer.
