CRKN is pleased to announce the successful recruitment of Rebecca Ross who will be joining the team, as of Monday, May 14, 2018, as Director, Marketing and Stakeholder Engagement. Rebecca brings ten years of strategic marketing and communications experience in the not-for-profit sector with a focus on academic publishing. Most recently, Rebecca was the Manager of Marketing and Communications at Canadian Science Publishing (CSP) where she was part of the launch and ongoing development of FACETS, a multidisciplinary open access science journal.

CRKN/Canadiana is pleased to share the announcement of the National Heritage Digitization Strategy’s (NHDS) Digitizing Canadian Collections funding call. This one-time funding opportunity will provide funds to organizations to digitize, make accessible and preserve documentary heritage material of national significance at a maximum of $100,000 per project.

Ottawa, Ontario - The Canadian Research Knowledge Network (CRKN) and Canadiana.org (Canadiana) are pleased to announce a merger of the two organizations, which will now be under the leadership of CRKN. The merged organization began combined operations on April 1, 2018.
