This second session will focus on how organizations can move from strategy to implementation. Participants will explore the resources available to support adoption, learn how to use the Checklist for Success, and gain practical guidance for integrating persistent identifier (PID) practices into existing organizational workflows.
We are pleased to welcome Julia Gilmore, Digital Projects Librarian at Scholars Portal, service lead for Scholaris, and member of the DataCite Canada Governing Committee (DCCGC). Through a case study highlighting the successful implementation of persistent identifiers, Julia will share practical lessons learned and demonstrate how community collaboration can support sustainable PID adoption.
