CRKN is pleased to announce the successful recruitment of Rebecca Ross who will be joining the team, as of Monday, May 14, 2018, as Director, Marketing and Stakeholder Engagement. Rebecca brings ten years of strategic marketing and communications experience in the not-for-profit sector with a focus on academic publishing. Most recently, Rebecca was the Manager of Marketing and Communications at Canadian Science Publishing (CSP) where she was part of the launch and ongoing development of FACETS, a multidisciplinary open access science journal. Prior to CSP, Rebecca led the digital publishing program at the University of Ottawa Press. Rebecca holds a Master of Information Studies from the University of Ottawa.
Rebecca previously provided communications support on a consultancy basis to CRKN between late 2015 and early 2017 when she guided the redevelopment of the CRKN website, Newsbrief and brand. Recently she has once again provided communication support in preparing the combination press release.
