Registration is Now Open for the 2022 CRKN Conference

August 04, 2022

Registration is now open for the 2022 CRKN Conference: Strength in Community! Join us from October 3-7 (virtual thematic sessions) and from November 1-2 (members-only workshops in Montreal) for exciting and thought-provoking conversations about the strength of community and the future of digital scholarship in Canada. We are also holding a pre-conference virtual Intro to CRKN session on September 28 for those who want to learn more about our organization and mandate in advance of the conversations at the conference.

There are two separate registration pages: one for the virtual thematic sessions and one for the in-person members-only workshops. Those who wish to attend both virtual and in-person events MUST register for both.

REGISTER FOR THE VIRTUAL THEMATIC SESSIONS

Registration Deadline: September 23, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. EDT

Our week of virtual thematic sessions includes presentations from CRKN members and stakeholders on the theme of Strength in Community. Registration for the virtual thematic sessions also includes access to the September 28 Intro to CRKN session.

All of the virtual thematic sessions will take place over Zoom. You will receive the Zoom link by email one day prior to the sessions.

The virtual thematic sessions for October 3-7 are open to CRKN members and stakeholders, except for the Content Strategy Committee and Licensing session on October 7. Please visit the conference site for an overview of the programming.

Registration Fees for the virtual thematic sessions:

Once again, we are pleased to offer a conference group rate. By registering using the group rate, an unlimited number of participants from your institution may attend the conference. To register for the group rate, please identify one individual from your institution as the group rate administrator. The group rate administrator will register on behalf of the institution by following these steps:

  1. Select the “Group Rate” applicable to your institution
  2. Choose “1” for the quantity to obtain the flat group rate
  3. Complete the form with your individual information (not as a business)
  4. Place your order after entering your payment information
  5. Contact nbundhoo@crkn.ca with your order confirmation number to obtain a discount code that can be circulated to individuals in your institution to register for the conference at no additional fee. Please note that individuals benefiting from the group rate MUST still register.

There are two group rates:

For members: If your institution is in bands 2 to 7, your group rate is $150 (including HST). If your institution is in bands 8-13, your group rate is $250 (including HST). View the list of CRKN member institution bands and group rates.

For non-members: If your organization has between 1 to 80 full time equivalent (FTE) staff, your group rate is $210 (including HST). If your organization has over 80 full time equivalent (FTE), your group rate is $350 (including HST).
