Following the recent launch of the National PID Strategy, led by the Canadian Persistent Identifier Advisory Committee (CPIDAC) and supported by CRKN and the Digital Research Alliance of Canada, we are pleased to present a series of three webinars designed to explore the strategy in greater depth.
This first session will provide a high-level introduction to Canada's National PID Strategy and its vision for advancing persistent identifier (PID) adoption across the Canadian research ecosystem.
We are pleased to welcome Jay Brodeur, Chair of the Canadian Persistent Identifier Advisory Committee and Director, Digital Scholarship Infrastructure & Services at McMaster University Libraries, as well as Administrative Director of the Lewis & Ruth Sherman Centre for Digital Scholarship, who, along with the PID Team, will present the strategy's goals, key priorities, and benefits for the research community.
