Canadiana User Interviews Report
https://doi.org/10.82389/k11t-px45
The Canadiana User Interviews Report presents the insights gained from a series of group interviews held by CRKN staff with Canadiana users with the goal of building relationships and better understanding user needs and preferences on the Canadiana platform.
The group interviews, which took place between June 2025 and May 2026, were held with seven key user groups identified by CRKN staff. Despite their different backgrounds and goals, the interview groups demonstrated remarkable consistency in their priorities, focusing on robust search functionality and navigation, richer metadata and contextual information, and access to content.
These findings will be used to support CRKN's ongoing user-centred development of Canadiana, including the Open Science Infrastructure for Canad(ian)a: Digital Collections of the Future project, and to continue strengthening our relationship with our user community.
