Federal Science Libraries Network

Allison is the Chief of the Federal Science Library Network (FSLN). The FSLN is a partnership of seven federal science-based departments and agencies with the goal of enhancing access to scientific information and evolving library services through the collective administration of common systems, tools and content. Allison is also the Senior Manager, Strategic Partnerships at the National Research Council Canada. In this role, she is responsible for overseeing the teams responsible for managing and delivering services related to the NRC library’s physical and digital collections including archives, rare books and paper records.

The Federal Open Science Repository: A Key Destination on Canada’s Roadmap to Open Science

Until now, a large part of Government of Canada scientists and researchers have not had the infrastructure to make their scientific publications openly available. This session outlines how we are addressing this gap, through the development of the Federal Open Science Repository (FOSR), a shared repository to make federally funded scientific outputs accessible to all.
