Over the past year CRKN has made incredible strides in completing a significant round of content addition and infrastructure development for the Canadiana collections, ensuring that this valuable resource continues to be a vital, and cost-effective source of research information for Canadians and the world, now and into the future. Join us as we provide an exciting update on development activities to date, including inclusion of new content from the Canadiana call for content, the deployment of new access APIs, persistent identifiers, and end-user access technologies, provide live, researcher-led demos of the new technologies in action, and share news about new content in the collections. We will also provide an update on the ongoing costs and sustainability strategies we have for the collections and will guide a member discussion on how to properly sustain this invaluable service through increased coordination and improved sustainability practices across our collective national DRI ecosystem.
