David Cormier

Information systems architect
Érudit

With a background in software engineering and sociology, David Cormier joined Érudit in 2015. He had previously worked as an open-source software consultant. Now leading the IT team, he has overseen major projects such as the online portal redesign and the complete migration of the technology infrastructure. As he became interested (unexpectedly) in the impact of bots on research portals, he oversaw the integration of Anubis at Érudit in 2025.
