Alexandra Houde has joined the CRKN team as Senior Content & Licensing Officer from February 13 through December 22, 2017. Alexandra will support the CRKN licensing program by serving as staff lead on a number of license negotiations, leading and supporting committee and task groups as appropriate and ensuring members are adequately supported in the delivery of content programs.

CRKN is pleased to participate in the Canadian Scholarly Publishing Working Group building on work and partnerships developed over the past few years. The Working Group includes stakeholders from across the full spectrum of the Canadian scholarly communications ecosystem and on November 7, 2016, the Working Group held its first full-day meeting in Ottawa.

The Canadian Research Knowledge Network is pleased to introduce Jason Friedman, Member Services & Licensing Officer, effective October 11, 2016. In this role, Jason will have responsibility for providing license maintenance support to members, administering the content program including coordinating and supporting the negotiations process and on-going contracts management. Jason will work closely with the Content Strategy Committee, provide staff support to the Serials Management Sub-committee and will advance CRKN's Journal Value Analytics service.
