She manages a number of large digitization projects and has been part of the Library’s web archiving team since 2013. She is an active member of the web archiving community, including CARL’s Canadian Web Archiving Coalition.

Presenters will discuss thematic web archives in relation to emerging collections strategy in two different organizations. Web archiving activity is generally preservation-driven, and thematic web archiving in specific may be as well; however thematic approaches also effectively seek to augment traditional library collections with web-based content that is aligned with collections scope or mandates.
