Katya Pereyaslavska
Katya Pereyaslavska (M.A., M.I.) currently serves as Network Coordinator for North/Nord: the Canadian Shared Print Network and the Council of Prairie and Pacific Libraries’ Shared Print Archive Network (SPAN), supporting regional and national preservation and archiving of physical library collections across Canada. She advances strategic collaboration and consortial priorities in shared print preservation across regional, national, and international contexts, including partnerships with the Shared Print Partnership and the European Print Initiatives Collaboration.
Previously, she held senior academic librarian roles, including Librarian III at Scholars Portal, University of Toronto Libraries (2011–2021), where she developed and managed a core consortial service, the Accessible Content ePortal. She later served as Associate Librarian at Western Libraries, Western University (2021–2024), specializing in user experience research and delivering graduate-level instruction in this area at the Faculty of Information and Media Studies (FIMS).
