Leigh-Ann Butler is the Scholarly Communications Librarian at the University of Ottawa, where she supports the library’s journal publishing services and manages the open access investments. Before uOttawa, she worked as a policy analyst on open science at the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC). Leigh-Ann is a Research Associate at the ScholCommLab, a Board member of the Library Publishing Coalition, and member of Coalition Publica’s Library User Group. Her research interests focus on scholarly communication, open scholarship, bibliometrics, and science policy.
