CRKN and Érudit renew their Partnership for Open Access for an additional two years
The Canadian Research Knowledge Network (CRKN) and Érudit are pleased to announce the renewal of their Partnership for Open Access (POA) for an additional two-year period. This extension will serve as a transition period to a new long-term partnership agreement planned for 2025 and will allow our organizations to build towards a ground-breaking reimagining of the Canadian open access landscape.

CRKN Welcomes Three New Associate Members
The CRKN Board of Directors is delighted to welcome three new Associate Members to the CRKN membership: NOSM University, Université de Hearst, and Université de l’Ontario français. All three institutions were approved at the 2022 Annual Meeting of the Members and are participating in CRKN’s content licensing program.
CRKN Adds University of Regina Student Publication Collection to Canadiana
CRKN is delighted to announce that 34 student publications from the University of Regina, representing approximately 3,000 pages of content, have been added to the Canadiana collection. The publications were digitized and made available by CRKN with the collaboration of the Dr. John Archer Library & Archives, University of Regina.
Clare Appavoo Reappointed as Executive Director of CRKN
The Board of Directors of the Canadian Research Knowledge Network (CRKN) is delighted to announce that Clare Appavoo has been reappointed as Executive Director of CRKN. Ms. Appavoo’s appointment is for an additional five years, effective January 1, 2023.
Researchers at participating CRKN member institutions can now publish free open access in select CSP journals
The Canadian Research Knowledge Network (CRKN) and Canadian Science Publishing (CSP) are pleased to announce a new transformative open access publishing agreement that offers unlimited open access publishing in five CSP journals, and a 25 per cent discount on article processing charges (APCs) in 14 additional CSP journals, for corresponding authors from participating CRKN member institutions.
