Emma Wright
Emma Wright is a recent settler residing on the traditional lands of the lək̓ʷəŋən People, known today as the Esquimalt and Songhees Nations. She holds a BA in English Literature from the University of Warwick and completed her Masters in Archival Administration at the University of Wales, Aberystwyth. Currently Executive Director of Archives, Research & Collections at the Royal British Columbia Museum, she has over 20 years’ experience working in the GLAM sector in Canada and abroad. Wright is the B.C. and Northern Canada Regional Representative for the National Archival Appraisal Board, Chair of the Executive Committee for the Coalition for Canadian Digital Heritage (CCDH), a past-President of the Archives Association of British Columbia and a past-Chair of the Council of Provincial and Territorial Archives.
